In use at the production line
At Voorbij Prefab in Amsterdam the viewer runs right at the line, on a large screen next to the mould. Whenever something is hard to read from the 2D drawing, the operator opens the element in 3D: rotate, zoom in, measure, and carry on producing. Production mistakes are costly in precast concrete: a misplaced cast-in part or a missed opening means drilling or chiseling on site.
